Atlanta Props™ - giant Event Letters

Atlanta Props™ has created hundreds of custom giant letters for corporate display, events and film production. The Feldman family builds their custom 3D letters out of a cabinet grade plywood that is finished smooth. Most often the letters are painted but, sometimes the big letters are stained or treated with different finishes. These giant letters are on display around the country and many times the big letters ship to events year after year, which shows how durable they are. A business may purchase foam letters thinking that they are lighter or less expensive, but our oversized wood letters offer a much better finish and look. Wood is also going to last much longer than a foam letter. A giant wood letter that is hollow can weigh less than a dense foam letter.

These letters were used numerous times. We just changed out the 8 to a 9 for the upcoming year.

Before ordering oversized letters or logos one must determine the size needed. What size is the area where the giant letters will be displayed? This will determine the width of the big letters. If not enough space, the letters can be stacked. The photo above shows stacked lettering Atlanta Props produced for the NCAA Final Four and Coca-Cola. Another question that we will ask before building the big letters is what font? We can reproduce any font in a large letter or any logo desired. The font will factor in on the cost. If it is a simple type font, cost will be less that a more complicated font. Will the oversized letters be displayed indoors or outside? How long will they be on display? Will the public have access to the letters? Will the giant event letters need a base for security? Will you need a custom crate to ship your giant letters to various events? Another thing to consider is the size of entrance where the lettering is going to be displayed. We have to make sure they fit through the door!
